江迅·中文字的奥妙

2011-12-03 10:51 在马来西亚诗巫，出席了华文独中公民中学和光民中学的两场招生文艺晚会。招生还要举办晚会，令人新奇。在与校长、家长和嘉宾的接触中，深感华文独中一路坎坷走来，可誉为“压不倒的玫瑰”。在晚会现场，看到不少马来人、印度人学子，用华语与他们作了简单交流。

在马六甲葡萄牙村，晚饭后，陪同北京文化人、10集纪录片《下南洋》总策划麦天枢，沿著海岸信步。广场上一帮葡萄牙人孩子在玩耍，我们与一位12岁少女，用华语与她攀谈。她在华文学校读6年级，父亲印度人，因病去世了，母亲葡萄牙人，为供孩子上学，打两份工，白天在酒店，晚上在餐厅。这女孩竟然能说4种语言：英语、葡萄牙语、华语、马来语。问她，学华语难不难，她腼腆点头：难，很难。

外国人学华文，确实不容易。中文字的奥妙，常常让学中文的老外晕倒。先说几个听来的段子。

――这是一位刚学过一点中文的美国人来到中国，中国朋友请他吃饭。到了饭店落座，中国朋友说：“对不起，我去方便一下。”那老外没听明白，“方便”是哪里？见老外疑惑，中国朋友告诉他说“方便”，口语里是“上厕所”的意思。哦，老外意会了。席间，中国朋友对老外说：“我下次到美国，希望你能帮忙提供些方便。”老外纳闷了：他去美国，让我提供些厕所干吗？道别时，另一位在座的中国朋友热情地对老外说：“我想在你方便的时候请你吃饭。”见老外惊讶发愣，中国朋友接著说：“如果你最近不方便的话，咱们改日……”老外无语。“咱找个你我都方便的时候一起吃饭吧。”老外随即晕了。

――一位老师向老外学生解释“乳”字的含义：乳即是小的意思，比如乳鸽、乳猪等。讲解完，老师要求老外学生用“乳”字造句。老外学生造句说：“现在房价太高了，所以我家只能买得起20平方米的乳房。”老师听了，冒著冷汗说：“再造一个！”老外学生：“我年纪太小，连一米宽的乳沟都跳不过去。”老师冷汗如雨下，说：“再造一个！”老外学生说：“老师我真的想不出来了，我的乳头都快想破了！”

――某老外苦学汉语10年，到中国参加汉语考试。试题之一：请解释下文中每个“意思”的意思：阿呆给领导送红包时，两个人的对话颇有意思。领导：“你这是甚么意思？”阿呆：“没甚么意思，意思意思而已。“领导：“你这就不够意思了。”阿呆：“小意思，小意思。”领导：“你这人真有意思。”阿呆：“其实也没有别的意思。”领导：“那我就不好意思了。”阿呆：“是我不好意思。”这老外听了，一头雾水。中文的“意思”太深奥了，于是他交白卷回国。

时下，中国大陆网民正追捧网名“莫兰拉姆”在论坛上的帖子连载。她真名乔涛，2005年毕业于南京晓庄学院对外汉语专业，毕业后留校任教，2011年跳槽去一家外资公司。作为教师，她曾从事对洋人的中文教学。她的帖子连载，描述自己和来自非、欧、亚洲的老外学生之间的趣事，还配上她的手绘趣图。闲时不妨读读，捧腹而发人深思：正是中文奥妙，颇具魅力。（星洲日报／言路·作者：江迅·《亚洲周刊》副总编辑）

Quick wit and smooth talking bag top spot for MRSM Pengkalan Chepa

KOTA BHARU: In the end, it all boiled down to ingenuity and the gift of the gab. After completing all four testing categories of the RHB-The Star Mighty Minds Challenge, MRSM Pengkalan Chepa and SMJK Chung Cheng tied for the first place in the upper secondary category.

After the judges conferred, the team from MRSM Pengkalan Chepa was declared champions based on their superior hands-on model of a tower with viewing decks that could be raised and lowered vertically as well as revolve 360°.

The team also notched higher marks for their oral presentation, when they convincingly sold their model to the judges and audience with sequentially-presented facts and an impressive demonstration.

MRSM Pengkalan Chepa’s Muhammad Hafiz Shamri Ibrahim Bakri, Nur Izzati Rozali and Muhammad Hussain Abdul Aziz kept their cool to stave off the stiff competition.

“We are delighted at our win. The questions and quizzes were not all that difficult ... the main thing was to work together and keep cool,” said Muhammad Hafiz Shamri.

Second place went to SMJK Chung Cheng’s Foo Chi Khing, Hing Jyi Shen and Kheng Chien Yi while the third place was won by SMK Datuk Ahmad Maher’s Muhammad Faiz Mohd Rabi, Muhammad Zri Amir Mazlana and Siti Nurhayati Ammira Zulkafly.

Held at the state Education Department Technology Department Hall here on Saturday, the Kelantan leg of the competition saw 350 students pitting themselves against each other, hoping to represent their state in the national challenge to be held in the Klang Valley in October.

Sultan Ismail College’s team comprising Liew John Kheng, Danny Darwis and Tengku Long Zarsanc Tengku Long Haniss emerged the lower secondary champions.

“We had to really focus and put our minds together for the highly stressful, exciting last lap – the buzzer quiz – to clinch victory,” said John Kheng.

Both champion teams in the two categories took home RM5,000 and a desktop computer for their school.

Second place went to MRSM Jeli’s Mohammad Nor Amir Ariff Mohd Aziman, Muhammad Nabil Muslim Saadon and Amir Ashraf Ramle while SMK Hamzah I’s Nur Mazni Md Zain, Siti Khairunnisa Mustapha and Muhammad Amir Rusydi Mohd Nasir took third place.

The prizes were presented by RHB Kota Baru branch manager Abdul Aznan Yaakob, witnessed by state Education Department deputy director (English department) Mohd Najib Omar.

About 500 copies of The Star, together with the F3F5, the Science and Maths guide for PMR and SPM students, were sponsored by the Crown Garden Hotel, while breakfast, lunch and tea were sponsored by McDonald’s Malaysia.

老师：唆使就是挑动别人去做坏事。

小强：可是钱我给出去了，都不是想想要给而已，不算企图呱？
老师：小强，企图是取决于有那份企图心，和做不做出贿赂的行动是不相关的。
